Monad's test network was officially launched on February 19!
Up to now, the network has successfully processed nearly 2.7 million transactions, covering 242,300 independent addresses, with a transaction success rate of up to 98%, and a block generation time of only 0.5 seconds.
Monad runs smoothly within the first few hours after its launch and reaches peak performance of 3000 transactions per second (TPS).
Let's take a deeper understanding of this project!
You can view the details through this link before continuing.
According to official Monad data, they distributed testnet tokens to about 8.8 million active Ethereum addresses to attract more users to participate in testing and verify network performance.
Within less than 24 hours, 3% of these addresses completed their first transaction on the Monad network.
This proportion is growing rapidly and is expected to reach 10% in a short period of time.
The large-scale distribution of testnet tokens has also directly driven the significant growth of TPS.
In just two hours after it went online, Monad's transactions per second (STPS) peaked at an average of 3,000.
Currently, Monad's average STPS is 26, which can better reflect the performance of the network in daily operation.
Monad's success rate puts it among the top ranks in the blockchain field.
According to test network data, Monad's transaction success rate is as high as 98%, which is impressive.
Block time has always been one of the areas that Monad focused on optimizing before it went online.
Test data shows that Monad's average block time is only 0.5 seconds, which makes it one of the fastest blockchains at present, and is very suitable for high-frequency trading and real-time application scenarios.
Since the launch of the Test Network, Monad has deployed nearly 110,300 smart contracts.
There are an average of 5,000-6,000 new contracts per hour, and the number of active contracts is currently 500, showing strong activity in the network.
It is worth noting that about 77% of the addresses that completed their first transactions on Monad did not receive airdrops from other popular blockchains or platforms.
Among them, the airdrop addresses of Arbitrum, Eigen and Layer3 account for the largest proportion.
According to the first transaction data analysis of EVM on-chain addresses, 67% of addresses have been active for more than one year, while 8% have been active for less than a month.
Which blockchains are Monad participants most active?
Data shows that in the past six months, Base, Polygon and Arbitrum have become the three most active blockchains for Monad participants. These three chains have attracted the attention and use of a large number of users due to their high performance, low transaction costs and a rapidly developing ecosystem.
