Robinhood to acquire Canadian crypto platform WonderFi for CAD 250 million

PANews reported on May 13 that according to Robinhood's official website, Robinhood will acquire Canadian crypto platform WonderFi at a cash consideration of CAD 0.36 per share, with a total valuation of approximately CAD 250 million, a premium of about 41% from the closing price on May 12. After the transaction is completed, WonderFi will be merged into Robinhood Crypto to continue operations, and its team will also join Robinhood to accelerate the expansion of the Canadian market. The transaction is expected to be completed in the second half of 2025.
