PANews reported on April 29 that according to the official Medium, Neo announced that it will officially close the Neo Legacy main network on October 31, 2025, and the test network will be closed on June 1, 2025. Neo Legacy has been in operation for more than 8 years since its launch in 2016. The official will save data snapshots before shutdown. After shutdown, the functions such as asset transfer, smart contract deployment, etc. will be permanently stopped, and unmigrated assets will be lost. Users need to complete asset migration through the official migration portal, and the Neo team will also assist the centralized exchange in processing custodial assets.
