Nearly half of the ICO funds (about $114 million) of founders Vytautas Karalevičius, Justas Dobiliauskas and Mantas Mockevičius were transferred to a bank they purchased in Vanuatu, according to leaked company records and bank statements. Bankera has promised to become a "bank in the blockchain era" and obtain an EU banking license, but it has not yet been implemented. Its original planned revenue sharing plan was suspended in 2022. The founder's lawyer denied the fraud in the ICO but refused to comment on the specific deal.
