Strategy may be forced to sell Bitcoin to repay debts
According to Form 8-K filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on April 7, if the price of Bitcoin continues to fall, Strategy may be forced to sell its Bitcoin holdings to repay debts, breaking Michael Saylor's promise that "never sells Bitcoin." In Form 8-K, Strategy mentioned, “Because Bitcoin constitutes the vast majority of assets on our balance sheet, if we are unable to obtain equity or debt financing in time (or simply cannot) on preferential terms, we may be forced to sell Bitcoin to meet financial obligations and may have to sell at lower than cost or other adverse prices.”
Since Trump won the election in November 2024, Strategy has bought 275,965 BTC ($25.73 billion) at an average price of $93,228, and this portion has fallen to $4.6 billion.

Aave’s official governance page shows that Aave DAO has proposed to authorize the Finance Committee (AFC to a $4 million equivalent aEthUSDT to launch the first phase of the Aavenomics repurchase and distribution program to be approved.

The complete plan is expected to continue to advance in six months at a pace of up to $1 million per week. The proposal enables AFC to begin the first phase of the repo program, approving $4 million of aEthUSDT for approximately one month of AAVE repo. By setting authorization quotas instead of direct transfers, proposals ensure funds are secure while allowing AFC to efficiently execute repurchases within the scope of governance approvals, helping to steadily advance the implementation of Aavenomics.
