Coinbase to acquire crypto options platform Deribit for $2.9 billion

PANews May 8 news, according to the Wall Street Journal, Coinbase executives said the company has agreed to acquire Deribit, the world's largest Bitcoin and Ethereum options trading platform. The deal still needs regulatory approval, and Coinbase will also take over Deribit's operating license in Dubai.
