The whale only bought back the 8,000 ETH shorted from the borrowed coins yesterday afternoon and closed its position, losing $208,000. Last night, ETH re-sumed $1,800, so it borrowed 4,000 ETH ($7.25 million) from Aave and sold it for a short price of $1,808.6.
