PANews reported on April 9 that according to Cailianshe, the State Council Tariff Commission issued an announcement today that from 12:01 on April 10, the tariff rate stipulated in the "Announcement of the State Council Tariff Commission on Improving Tariffs on Imported Goods Originating in the United States" (Tax Commission Announcement No. 4 of 2025) will be adjusted, and the tariff rate for all imported goods originating in the United States will be increased from 34% to 84%.
