While watching the No. 1 sister join the major currency speculation groups and the BNB Chain ecological groups dance, Solana and Base started arguing again. Both are regarded by the community as a "American chain" to some extent and have completely broken up in the ideological matter.

"American Chain" advertising has obvious political stance, and the

community complains and Base adds the problem

The fuse this time was a deleted promotional video by Solana, mainly about the exchange between a consultant (symbolizing certain ideological trends in modern society) and a man named "American" (symbolizing traditional American values, innovative spirit and rational thinking).

American expressed interest in areas such as technological innovation, multi-planetary exploration, nuclear energy, cryptocurrency and artificial intelligence, but consultants kept guiding him to focus on identity politics, gender identity and social construction theory rather than practical actions and progress.

American expressed confusion and dissatisfaction to the consultant, and found that his rational thinking and innovative spirit were seen as problems, and was even cancelled for adhering to mathematical objectivity ("2+2=4"). After being forced to cooperate with regulatory policies such as suppressing cryptocurrencies and slowing nuclear energy approvals, American eventually realized that he could not accept such a reality and decided to re-embrace innovation and work, and "fired" the consultant at the end of the conversation, symbolizing resistance to certain modern ideological trends.

At the end of the video, American breaks out with the screen saying “American is Back”, followed by a promotional message from a May conference at Solana and an iconic logo symbolizing accelerationism.

The community mixed reviews of the ad, and Solana chose to delete the short video a few hours after the ad was released, but someone uploaded it to Zora for community Mint, which now has a market value of $120,000.

Base also released a short video with the theme of an old car businessman's transformation. At first he was immersed in traditional car trading and had no interest in cryptocurrencies. However, when facing the practical problems of slow bank transfers, limited business hours, and inconvenient cash transactions, he began to think about new solutions. Finally, he accepted cryptocurrency with the recommendation of a repeat customer.

Choose one of two ways out of public chains: mosque or chameleon?

While Solana was ridiculed by the public for this ad, someone else dug out its political donation campaign in 2020 due to the "Black Lives Matter" movement, which read "Equal, fair and just, regardless of race or gender." Now, there are also advertising content that accuses transgender of hindering innovation, and people in the community blame them as political chameleons.

This is not the first time Solana has debated with ecosystems such as Ethereum and Base. But the difference is that since Trump took office, the blockchain ecosystem entrenched in the United States, led by Solana and Base, has shown completely different political propositions and ideological choices from Ethereum.

Ethereum founder Vitalik, as always, adheres to his political stance, maintains decentralization, rejects political intervention, avoids speculation, and promotes technological and ecological innovation. He hopes Ethereum will stick to its initial values while attracting more users through practical applications rather than gaining short-term advantages by catering to politics or vested interests.

On social media, he bluntly stated that the Ethereum Foundation will avoid getting close to any politicians, saying that they can "not work together" and that those who try to take advantage of the popularity of politicians are going astray, and Ethereum needs a clearer and clearer positioning.

In contrast, Solana and Base, as well as encryption projects such as Cardano and Ripple have become Trump's guests of honor.

The first White House Summit

In February this year, Solana updated its brand image, and put the words "ACCELERATE" on the promotional banner, and the background was directly replaced with the American flag.

Currently, the English community is quarreling about this short film of Solana. Some people say they don’t understand why they choose such a strange position for an open source project like Solana (especially built on cryptography). It is puzzling.

"Don't you realize that a disproportionate number of trans developers are contributing to open source, cryptography, security and intelligence software? Almost everyone who grew up in the cryptopunk culture knows at least one trans super developer or hacker who is a legendary existence. The reason these communities are so admirable is that they always hold the creed that we don't care who you are, we only care what you do."

Some people also say that they support Solana's position, believing that since they have political resources, they should be used reasonably in order to maximize the benefits of ecological development.

Some people think this ad is very smart marketing. "Those who cry that 'cryptocurrencies should be decentralized, politically neutral' are completely out of the point. This ad is designed to embarrass and arouse anger. You all take the bait - which makes it spread more widely." This is true, and now everyone is spreading this ad short video.

Meanwhile, the community’s complaints about Ethereum have not stopped. “Say whatever the awkward marketing of Solana, but at least they are not afraid to try things, no matter how stupid they seem. Ethereum is busy maintaining “trustworthy neutrality” and posting a lot of cliches.”

When Solana anchored the brand image to the Stars and Stripes and Base used commercial narratives to implicate the traditional financial system, Encryption had already irreversibly stepped into the ideological arena. This "American Chain" value war not only exposes the ambition of public chain ecology for political discourse, but also reflects the deep contradiction between decentralized beliefs and pragmatic survival laws.

Just as Bitcoin once tried to use algorithms to eliminate sovereign will, Layer1s are actively weaving political narratives - this may herald the 2.0 script of the crypto revolution: technical protocols have begun to learn to manipulate ideological tools, and the original doctrine of "trustworthy neutrality" is being redefined by more complex real-world games. When the code cannot prove its position, the future of the crypto world may no longer be dominated by the hash rate.
