PancakeSwap: CAKE Token Economics 3.0 is expected to be implemented on April 23

PANews reported on April 21 that PancakeSwap officially announced that CAKE Token Economics 3.0 will be implemented at 0:00 UTC time on April 23, and veCAKE and Gauges Voting will be officially "retired".

Starting from 8:00 am on April 23, 2025 (UTC time), all CAKE and veCAKE stakes will be unlocked. Users who have directly pledged CAKE through the PancakeSwap interface will be able to exchange veCAKE for CAKE at a ratio of 1:1. Users who directly pledge CAKE through the PancakeSwap interface have 6 months to redeem their pledged CAKE and veCAKE, with the deadline being 08:00 am on October 23, 2025 UTC time.
