Paidun: The losses caused by the crypto hacker incident in Q1 2025 reached US$1.63 billion, an increase of 131% year-on-year

According to Paidun Monitoring, more than 60 cryptocurrency hacking incidents occurred in the first quarter of 2025, with a total loss of US$1.63 billion, an increase of 131% from US$706 million in the first quarter of 2024. There were 20 cryptocurrency hacking incidents in March 2025, with losses of $33.46 million, including $5 million hacking incidents affecting 1inch, and 90% have been recovered.
