Virtuals, a platform for creating, trading, and deploying AI agents, has achieved 400% growth in less than a month and is now the largest protocol on Base. Once labeled as another memecoin launchpad, Virtuals has now sparked discussions about the importance of agent frameworks and the power of agents to change the way we interact on-chain.

The largest Virtual intelligent agent, aixbt, has more than 140,000 fans on X, and as of December 16, its market value reached US$250 million. While high- profile agents such as aixbt and Luna dominate the attention, many other virtual agents are addressing a wide variety of and specialized use cases.
