Lido on the Polygon network will officially be retired in the coming months

PANews reported on December 16 that according to the official blog, the liquidity staking protocol Lido announced that in the next few months, Lido on the Polygon network will be officially deactivated. After extensive DAO forum discussions and community votes, LDO token holders have requested that Lido on the Polygon protocol be stopped, and the process will begin soon. Lido cited a strategic renewed focus on Ethereum, as well as the lack of scalability of Polygon POS, as reasons for discontinuing Lido on the Polygon network.

About the Sunset process: ① December 16, 2024: Lido staking on the Polygon network will stop, and new pledges will no longer be accepted through the UI; ② December 16, 2024 - June 16, 2025: six months During the transition period, users can Lido on the UI for withdrawals; ③ January 15 to January 22, 2025: The protocol will be suspended and then resumed; no withdrawals can be processed during this period. ④June 16, 2025: Front-end support ends. After this date, withdrawals can only be made through browser tools.
