Immunefi: Nine hacking incidents in the crypto industry in February caused $1.53 billion in losses

PANews reported on February 27 that according to the latest report by security service platform Immunefi, the stolen funds in the cryptocurrency industry surged in February due to the record-breaking Bybit hacking attacks, and nine hacking incidents caused a total of US$1.53 billion in losses, a 20-fold increase from the previous month. This figure is 18 times higher than in February 2024, when the registered losses were $81.6 million; losses so far this year reached $1.6 billion, an 8 times higher than the same period last year.
