Binance HODLer airdrop launches GoPlus Security (GPS)
According to the official announcement, Binance HODLer airdrop is now launched in the 11th phase project - GoPlus Security (GPS). From 08:00 on February 19, 2025 to 07:59 on February 25, 2025 (East Eighth District time), users who use BNB to subscribe for guaranteed currency (regular and/or current) or on-chain currency earning products will receive airdrop allocation.
Binance will list GPS on March 4, 2025 at 21:00 (East Eighth District Time), and will open trading pairs for USDT, USDC, BNB, FDUSD and TRY, and seed label trading rules apply. The GPS recharge channel will be open in 2 hours.
French crypto market maker and liquidity provider Flowdesk completed a $102 million financing, of which 90% were equity financing and about 10% ($10.2 million) were debt financing. The round of equity financing was led by European investment institution HV Capital, with Eurazeo, Cathay Innovation and ISAI VC participating, and the debt financing was partly provided by funds managed by BlackRock. HV Capital also won a board seat on Flowdesk this time.
Flowdesk plans to use this round of funding to expand its business, including launching a dedicated crypto credit business and setting up an office in the UAE. Debt financing is a strategic choice for the company to optimize its balance sheet while maintaining sustainable growth and avoid equity dilution. Flowdesk previously completed a $50 million Series B financing in January 2024, with a valuation of more than $250 million.
Flowdesk was established in 2020 and its main businesses cover market making, liquidity provision (including crypto ETFs), OTC trading, brokerage services and financial management.
The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) today announced a list of members of the crypto task force, which will advise the committee on cryptocurrency-related matters.
The working group consists of members from the Office of the Acting Chairman and other departments of the Committee. “The Crypto Working Group demonstrates deep expertise and a positive commitment to find viable solutions to complex cryptocurrency regulatory issues with the help of other outstanding staff and the public,” said SEC Commissioner Hester Peirce.
SEC ends investigation into Yuga Labs
The SEC has concluded its investigation into Yuga Labs. Yuga Labs posted on X platform: "It took three years for the SEC to officially end its investigation into us, which is a major victory for NFT and the entire creator ecosystem."
