CryptoQuant CEO: Strategy purchases faster than Bitcoin mining speed and gains deflation advantage

05/10/2025·15DPANews reported on May 10 that Ki Young Ju, founder and CEO of CryptoQuant, posted on the X platform that Bitcoin is deflationary, and Strategy (formerly MicroStrategy) purchases Bitcoin faster than Bitcoin mining speed. They hold about 555,000 Bitcoins, and are in an illiquid state and have no plans to sell it. This means that Strategy's Bitcoin holdings can obtain an annual deflation rate of -2.23%, and other stable institutional holders may have higher deflation rates.
