Cronos proposes to reissue 70 billion destroyed tokens to “create Cronos strategic reserves”

PANews March 3 news, Cronos said on X platform that today's Cronos POS governance forum released a new proposal for voting, which "is intended to restore the golden age of Cronos and will invest huge sums of money to support the Cronos roadmap (including ETFs) and the ambition of the United States to become the global cryptocurrency capital." To achieve this goal, Cronos strategic reserves will be established by reversing the token destruction in February 2021 (i.e. 70 billion CROs). (i.e., the total supply returns to the initial 100 billion CROs). The strategic reserve will add another five-year lock-up period based on the five-year lock-up period that has passed since the first issuance of Ethereum, so as to make the total vesting period reach 10 years.
