Blade Games released a white paper today to create an on-chain gaming ecosystem integrating AI Agents.

When Blade Games started building on-chain games on DAY 0, they envisioned a completely new form of gaming—a type of game played by on-chain AI Agents instead of human players, or to put it further, a game composed of AI Agents and controlled by intelligent A virtual world of contract governance.

In 2022, this vision does not seem realistic. But now, driven by the AI wave, AI Agents are constantly iterating in directions such as smarter, more personalized, more practical, and better at collaboration. Blockchain infrastructure such as public chains such as Arbitrum and Mantle are constantly improving, and 0G Labs and Delphinus Newcomers such as Lab are also actively emerging, which all indicates that the time has come.

Now Blade Games is gradually integrating AI Agent into its on-chain game ecosystem. Users will be able to interact with AI Agent through social media, "play while digging" through Agent deployment strategies, and use existing game files across chains to Earn additional mining rewards and season rewards, and even participate in games where AI Agents are for players - by having rewards stored on the chain and verified and distributed by smart contracts, Agents will be able to formulate strategies and compete for resources in the game.

One of the largest on-chain gaming ecosystems on Arbitrum and Mantle

Blade Games is one of the largest on-chain gaming ecosystems on Arbitrum and Mantle, with more than 850,000 registered users. In early 2024, Blade Games completed a seed round of financing, jointly led by PTC Crypto and IOSG Ventures. In the first quarter of the same year, its ZK game engine zkUnity was released, and currently 5 games in the ecosystem have been launched. For more introduction and technical documentation about the ZK game engine, please refer to the white paper .

Blade Games announced on December 11 that its monthly ecological revenue exceeded 300,000 US dollars (equivalent to $ETH), and there were more than 200,000 active addresses on the chain. It plans to launch 3 self-developed games in 2025, including 1 mobile-adapted game, and access more than 15 partner games.

Blade Games’ AI Agent design framework

Blade Games' AI Agent design framework consists of five modules: character initialization, perception and response, memory and learning, interaction dynamics, and scalability.

Through the AI Agent prompt interface and long-term memory processor, the system initializes a unique personalized configuration and memory basis for the AI Agent, and sets core goals and behavioral parameters. During operation, the perception system analyzes environmental data in real time, the strategy engine generates dynamic responses based on the character's personality and memory, and the AI Agent can accumulate experience through interaction to optimize behavior.

The framework supports multi-AI Agent management and resource allocation to ensure synchronization with the state of the game world and has flexible expansion capabilities.

All in all, with the continuous improvement of blockchain infrastructure and the rapid iteration of AI technology, the expectation of deep integration of AI Agent and on-chain game ecology seems not far away. The V1 version of Blade Games’ white paper released this time contains token-related content for the first time, and announced plans to increase revenue in multi-token airdrop events co-organized with partners such as 0g Labs, Delphinus Lab, Arbitrum, Mantle, etc. Multiple benefits. According to the roadmap, the project will be TGE in the near future.
