Lightspeed organized an anonymous survey and distributed it to Solana creators to get their thoughts on other ecosystems, venture capital, startups, and more.

Here are the results of our poll of 42 creators:

(Solana Cabal promotes internal projects at the expense of non-conspiracy projects)

The creator also said: "I don't know, it doesn't really matter anyway".

"Don't like this question, it feels like it's provoking rather than informing."

"Exists, I'm a part of, but not at the expense of non-conspiracy projects" because I invest a lot of time and money in "non-conspiracy projects" as well. It's a two-way street - you pay , you gain.”

"In the early days and during the bear market, networks naturally formed. Over the years, those who valued collaboration and helping solana naturally had a closer network. Some of these people (including people from the OG solana lab team) later found There's a lot of voice and a following. It's natural that almost all of the surviving teams are funded by VCs and solana ventures, but there's nothing malicious about it in my opinion. The foundation does a great job of actively spreading the impact and supporting people across the ecosystem (see Superteam, etc.) Toly does a particularly good job of cheering the builders on, without any discrimination, in my opinion. It's based on: 1) What they're building is cool; 2) It's sincere."

“More block space needs to be added ASAP. 5x demand + 2x price appreciation = 10x larger blocks are needed to maintain the same cost for app builders!”

“FTX was the best in the early days, but also the worst, haha.”

There's a lot to delve into here, but there's a few things I found interesting: other founders don't think highly of pump.fun, but they think the meme is a great benefit to the ecosystem. Moreover, Base and Sui appear to be Solana's most attractive competitors.
