The last two months have been one of the most challenging times in the crypto space, with players withdrawing one after another, and liquidity is becoming the scarce commodity in the field.
Similarly, individual ecosystems face growth challenges, but Sonic has been fighting in this "bloody massacre".
From Fantom to Sonic
From a technical point of view, the transition from Fantom to Sonic makes this chain one of the best-performing EVM L1s with:
- 10,000 TPS
- Sub-second finality
- Solidity/Vyper support
Thanks to the incremental Sonic consensus, these features are constantly improving rapidly: the average speed will increase by 2.04 times and the memory usage will be reduced by 67.8%.
In addition, several incentive programs help strengthen the community and attract new developers and users:
- FeeM (Fee Monetization): Applications earn 90% of their incurred fees
- Innovator Fund: $200 million to support applications and drive new programs
- Airdrop: About $200 million to reward users

TVL Growth: Of the top 25 TVL chains, only three achieved an increase last month. Among them, Sonic has the largest increase.

FeeM: The items allocated to incur expenses on the network have exceeded $900,000, and are worth more than $500,000.
A constantly developing ecology
Aave deploys its lending market on the Sonic network. Users can borrow, supply and earn incentives on Aave. Initial assets include $USDC, $WETH, and $wS. In addition, Sonic and Aave also offer incentives of $15 million and $800,000 respectively to attract users. The new market reached the supply cap on the first day.
Llamaswap: DefiLlama Adds Sonic Labs to the supported chain list. Users can use DefiLlama to redeem tokens more efficiently.
Trust Wallet also announced the integration of Sonic (S), where users can manage assets on the Sonic chain within their wallet, including sending, receiving and storing native S tokens and tokens issued based on Sonic.
In addition, Jumper is also online on Sonic, and users can bridge tokens to Sonic through Jumper.

Shadow Exchange : Shadow Exchange is a DEX platform that takes the popular (3,3) models from the previous cycle and allows users to get above-average APY returns in their pools. Shadow is also the fifth-ranked DEX in the past 7 days.

Hand of God : Hand of God is an AI-powered DeFi protocol inspired by the original Tomb Finance model, which optimizes governance through real-time data analysis. Currently, TVL is about $19 million.
Eggs Finance : Eggs Finance is a DeFi protocol where users use $S to mint $EGGS, use $EGGS as collateral to borrow more $S, and maximize leverage strategies.
